In March we invite you to join us on two more rides; on Saturday 16 and 30. We are all looking forward to the winter to leave and as the temperature rises we also increase the distance of the routes. We remind you that as in all previous group rides the participation has no cost and are open to everybody who want to join, whether they are members of the club or non-members, customers of the store or day visitors or simply anyone who wants to enjoy a good cycling day in excellent company. The rides start from our shop, that opens half an hour before the start. If any person would like to join at some point during the route, you can tell us by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Saturday 16th March – Coll del Pollastre (107km 1050m)
The distance of the rides start to increase with this ride by the coast. The route goes to Sant Pol the Mar following the NII which goes parallel to the sea. From there we’ll climb the Coll del Pollastre that will guide us back to Mataró. From there we’ll ride again on the NII back to Barcelona. This ride is mostly flat, therefore the average speed is supposed to be higher than the previous rides.
Saturday 30th March – Gallifa (112km 1850m)
This route passes most of the time on the Vallès area and the surroundings of the natural park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac. From the shop we’ll go to cross Collserola through the Cemetery road. From there we’ll head north to Sant Llorenç Savall, and from there to Gallifa. The return passes through Caldes de Montbuy going to Sabadell. To finish the ride we’ll test the forces remaining on the legs by climbing back the Cemetery road again.
