Day by day
Day 1 · Arrival in Girona
40 km · 300 m
Meet the Terra BikeTours team, set up your bikes and enjoy a warm-up ride along the river Ter. Extra ideas: a cheese and wine tasting or a walking tour of the old town.
Day 2 · Girona to Pals
50 km · 500 m
Traffic-free gravel paths and small roads to Pals, a perfectly preserved medieval village overlooking the Mediterranean.

Day 3 · Pals to Castelló d’Empúries
50 km · 300 m
Mostly flat along the coast, past Roman ruins at Empúries and into the Aiguamolls Natural Park, a paradise for birdwatchers.

Day 4 · Castelló d’Empúries to Cadaqués
40 km · 600 m
Probably the most scenic day: a traffic-free path into the rugged Cap de Creus Natural Park, beach bars for a swim and a short optional ride to the lighthouse.

Day 5 · Cadaqués to Figueres
45 km · 500 m
A 5 km gravel climb out of Cadaqués to the high point of Cap de Creus, then downhill to Figueres, Dalí’s birthplace. Sleep in an old farmhouse outside town.
Day 6 · Figueres to Girona
50 km · 500 m
Rolling hills, apple orchards and quiet villages on the way back to Girona.

When to go and who it is for
