Day by day
Day 1 · Logroño warm-up ride
25 km · 400 m
A loop through vineyards and small villages such as Oyón, with sections of the Camino de Santiago. Back in Logroño, the tapas bars of Calle Laurel are waiting.
Day 2 · Logroño to San Millán de la Cogolla
50 km · 650 m
South through farmland to Nájera and its monastery, then into greener country below the Sierra de la Demanda. San Millán’s monasteries of Suso and Yuso are UNESCO-listed and considered the cradle of the Spanish language.
Day 3 · San Millán to San Vicente de la Sonsierra
48 km · 350 m
Back down to the Ebro valley through Badarán and Cenicero, wine towns surrounded by vines, to San Vicente and its hilltop fortress.

Day 4 · San Vicente to Laguardia
800 m of climbing
Into Rioja Alavesa, past Briones and the Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture, then up to walled Laguardia with views over the whole valley.

Day 5 · Laguardia to Logroño
60 km · 950 m
Iconic vineyard landscapes, Marqués de Riscal’s titanium winery in Elciego and Lapuebla de Labarca before crossing the Ebro back to Logroño.
